the perfect sunny day drink

We have finally been having some beautifully warm days here in Denver and with that, my family has spent lots of time outdoors riding bikes, playing at the park, and so much more.

So...perhaps I made myself a cocktail to sip as we enjoy the sunshine.

{it can also be made as a mocktail}

I've had several questions as to what we were drinking at Ezekiel & Anton's birthday parties.

So I thought I'd let you in on my deliciously simply treat.

Ingredients:

. UV Lemonade {vodka} . raspberry or pink lemonade . pineapple juice .

. sliced lemons & raspberries as garnish .

{obviously to make this kid friendly, simply make it without the vodka. still super yummy}

For the parties, I put them in a wicker trunk I made into a cooler & filled it with ice.

We had several filled mason jars left over after the parties so I placed them into the freezer. Because vodka does not freeze, the drink just becomes slushy.

So perfect for a hot day! Whether playing outside or sprawled out with a good book.
