It's taken me awhile to get these photos up, but finally I can show you the gorgeousness of our Let's Party Like Girls night!

It truly was an evening of reconnecting and simply enjoying one another. I think as women, and moms in particular...we often get so busy that we forget to take time for ourselves and to nourish our souls through our girlfriends (read more about that here).

So this night was designed to fill ourselves with prettiness and celebrate one another.

My incredibly talented friend Margaret recently started her own baking shoppe and so generously worked with me to have the perfect little sweets. Check her out online here and she'd love to make some for you, as well! (and shhh by the way, she's super affordable)

I love that Margaret and I were on the same page design-wise and had the same vision of what the night was to be. Both her bite-sized sweets and her presentation couldn't have been more perfect.

We may or may not have sent each other about a million Pinterest ideas through our weeks of planning.

Here's the Pinterest page, if you'd like to see our inspiration (note: ooh you girls must be already following it! Just noticed it already has over 500 followers on it)!

I think this was my favorite part of the table (other than the food, of course). I had bought these wooden candelabras on clearance at Target last summer but they were a magenta-ish purple that just wasn't my favorite. So I spray painted them and wrapped the tea lights with striped Washi tape (sorry, I can't find a link anywhere but I got the tape at Target, as well).

Because a house full of fresh flowers weren't in my budget, I used some beautiful faux ones I had left over from making this wreath and cut them short to float around the base of the candelabras.

It. Was. Gorgeous. (and needed no water!)

I found these fantastic paper plates on Amazon. Aren't they the cutest? They were tiny and perfect for our little desserts.

I loved having the three vintage patterns and wish I'd ordered more. I've got to mention though if you do order them, they honestly are tiny and take a long time to deliver (they say Prime, but it actually took about two weeks).

I'm always "shopping the house" so most of my decorations are grabbed from other places in our home.

For example, that fun yellow and white striped "table cloth"? It's actually a duvet cover from Imani and Elsabet's room.

I cannot emphasize enough...use what you have!!! Who'd have thought her duvet cover would be the PERFECT table covering?!

That disco ball in the photo above is from Walmart, believe it or not. It was only a couple bucks and now rests atop some books on our fireplace. It's so fun and a bit randomly unexpected when not hung from the ceiling.

Twinkling lights overhead and candles around provided a ton of ambiance.

The fresh flowers were on clearance at our neighborhood grocery store (though they didn't look wilted at all!) I used my favorite technique using washi tape when arranging them into the candle holder-turned-vase.

The gold streamers + paper decorations were all from Target...though I did add a little gold fringe to the paper garland.

We had SUCH a full house with ladies coming and going all evening. It was such an honor to meet new friends and celebrate others that are do dear to me.

And thank you Margaret for sharing your incredible baking gifts with us!

I absolutely cannot wait to do this again next year!!!
