Thanksgiving inspiration, recipes + printables
Happy Thanksgiving week! One of our kids has the whole week off so we're headed on a mommy/son date in a minute...but first I wanted to share a little roundup of some of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes, printables, and table decor!
Last year, Bought Beautifully approached me with the desire that I decorate our Thanksgiving table with their gorgeous fair trade items. I gleefully said yes and set out to create a beautiful tablescape full of bold color, mismatched patterns, and textures.
I think it's my favorite Turkey Day table I've ever done! I used blankets as tablecloths, dish towels mixed with fabric napkins, and all sorts of repurposed items to bring the space to life!
Don't feel like you have the right stuff...and don't want to spend money by buying anything? Maybe this post will inspire you!
I also made some printable Thankful Tags to be placed on a thankful tree or on each place setting.

Do you have a favorite stuffing recipe? Even if you're not gluten-free...I have a feeling you're going to LOVE this one!!!

I think it's so important to start the week by preparing our hearts for the big day on Thursday.
Back when this blog was still Hugs & Punches (before I switched to my name as I began working to get my book published), I had created these fun printables to place in lunchboxes and throughout the house.
I should probably redo them with my updated website...but I have a feeling your kids don't care a bit about that part, haha.

Ok, one more recipe. Though this post doesn't tout it as a Thanksgiving pie, it's ALWAYS on our table for the holiday.
I admittedly purchase our pumpkin pies at Costco, but because this is such a big favorite in our family, I always make sure to save time to make it... because it's just that good.

I hope you have THE most fantastic week thanking the Lord for all of His blessings! From our family to yours...Happy Thanksgiving!!
