parmesan baked french beans

french beans 1

The other day, I posted the recipe for our family's favorite salmon recipe. I had several questions about the french bean recipe, so I thought I'd let you know how I made them!

I'm sorry to say that this isn't technically a "recipe" though...it's one of those things where I just eyeball it and toss in whatever I have on hand or feel like that evening.

But the jist of it is...

. Cut the tops off the beans, place them into a large ziplock bag.

. a splash of olive oil {I use avocado oil}, enough to coat the beans

. season with garlic salt, or other spices that compliment your dinner

. sprinkle in enough parmesan cheese to coat the beans {I often use both powdered and freshly grated}

. shake, shake, shake! Make sure it's coated well

. pour contents of ziplock onto a baking pan {this one is my favorite}

. bake at 375 for 30 minutes, toss french beans...then bake for another 20-30 minutes, depending on how crunchy you like them. {50-60 minutes total baking time}

That's it! And so yummy {the kids even love them!}

Sorry I don't have the exact measurements, but it's one of those recipes where it's hard to mess up. Play around with your own flavors!
