Birthday Party for Jesus {giveaway}

IMG_8866.jpg

Did you read my post the other day about our Birthday Party for Jesus we have every Christmas Eve?

Well... I thought you should have all the makings for one, too!

My sweet friend & college roommate has the most fun Etsy shop called Shop Lissy. Amongst other amazing creations, she handmakes these beautiful birthday hats.

She was very generous to create a custom one for our giveaway! {thanks again, Lis xo}

In case you're using it for more than simply decoration, it does in fact, have elastic to tuck under a little one's chin.

She's made me SO much through the years and is crazy talented. The items in her shop are changing constantly so stop by often! I'm currently obsessed with this Chevron Eiffel Tower Christmas Ornament.

My love of paper straws continues with these vintage inspired red and green striped ones. They'll be perfect for egg nog or some other festive drink.

It's really hard to find {non cheesy} Happy Birthday Jesus items. These came from Hobby Lobby. In fact, there's a whole line of matching party decor if you're needing some. I'm just not into matchy-matchy so the napkins were enough for me.

Oh chevron...how I love you. I'm having a hard time giving these up. Should have bought some for myself, too!

I absolutely love cake plates. Granted, this is made of paper & you'll have to be careful with it...but it's still fun and fantastic. Whether you're making cupcakes, a full cake, or even Christmas cookies, it'll be a fun addition to your party!

Have you ever seen such CUTE plastic forks?

Loving the kitchy vintage feel of them, don't you?

Oh how I adore this card! If I were keeping it, I'd probably frame it and keep it for years to come.

Bessie from BIMPRESSED has graciously gifted it to us for our giveaway! You've got to go to her Etsy shop, she creates fantastic cards & books from vintage hand-set type. You'll love her work. Trust me.

Are you wondering what these are? They are the makings of tissue paper pom poms, like in the photo below.

Yes, there will be directions. But don't worry...it's super easy.

This picture makes me happy...it's Imani's welcome home party, just after we brought her home from Ethiopia. What an amazing day that was {thanks again Brandi for hosting it!}.

Quite appropriate since TODAY she has been home in our arms for TWO years!!

And what's a party without goodie bags? Fill 'em with Christmas cookies or other birthday treats and any kid {or grownup} will be thrilled to have it in their little hands.
