first day of school breakfast {idea}
I've been looking around online for creative First Day of School breakfast ideas and SO love this one, that I just HAD to post what this fun Norwegian blogger-mom did for her daughter...
The theme was Typography and she made the simplest ideas so fun!
She used Design Letters Melamine crockery for her place settings and used the cheerful typography everywhere else on the table and in the room!
The wooden "A" was grabbed from the older sister's bedroom for this special event.
Place cards were created by cutting black cardstock with a large puncher {I know, such a technical word}. Upon these, she attached the initial for each person attending their fun little meal, by placing small white foam stickers from the craft store upon the beautifully punched-out design.
The small black flags were made by simply using washi tape and adhering them to the vintage inspired paper straws {that you all know I'm obsessed with over at our house...see
my shop}.
Super easy and quickly done!
I love how she also added the puffy foam letter stickers on the flags, as well.
.
Can't you just see yourself finding some melamine plates {or even paper ones} and a
Sharpie... making all this yourself since
these GORGEOUS place settings don't seem to be available in the US?
.
I'm so inspired! Can't wait for the 1st day of school on Monday!!
